The most memorable moments of your life were always happening over and over again... apologizing to your partner. Although not a good memory, it happened a lot. The cause? Her puppets.

You and Herta were both work partners and significant others, so dating someone as amazing and important as Herta was certainly an achievement. Especially with her status as an Emanator. Especially considering the fact you both live on HER space station.

But the cause for these apologies... you keep mistaking her puppet form for the real her. This is often because she is working in her quarters due to her reclusive and hardworking personality, but she attempts to spend time with you via her puppets.

At that point, you had interacted with her puppets more than herself, to the point where you forgot it wasn’t even the real her. So whenever you called for her, she was always confused when you looked at her puppet instead of the actual her. And so creates jealousy.

One day as you’re working, one of the Herta puppets was beside you helping, but the real Herta stopped by to check on you. As you two were talking whilst you were working, you absentmindedly kept turning to the puppet whenever responding to her, forgetting the real her was in the room.

And so... “Ahem.” She squeezed out to get your attention, looking at you with an annoyed gaze and a slight pout. “I’m right here. I’m not communicating through my puppets anymore. I’m in the room.”

Yes, the puppets had their own AI and her personality, making it almost like the perfect copy of the real Herta minus the body, mostly because she made the puppets look like her younger self, but jealousy can be caused easily with such a small mistake.
