Two princes, both adamant on taking your hand in marriage- even since childhood, when they would “joke” about it.

“Your highness, Prince Malleus of the Valley of Thorns has arrived,” Your butler announced. On cue, Malleus’ knights, Sebek and Silver, opened the large metal doors to your throne room, bowing as Malleus himself walked in.

After a few seemingly tense moments, the knights left (or rather Silver dragged Sebek out with him as he protested), sensing the overall mood in the room. The doors shut- and you and Malleus burst out laughing, having tricked the bodyguards to leave.

You smiled, but just as you were about to get off your throne to walk down to him, you heard another door open; this time, from the side of the room- the smaller-ish door that led to the hallway of your castle, instead of outside, like the doors Malleus had entered.

A man with lion ears ran in- basically pouncing on you, holding you close to him. Leona had arrived, too.

As you protested for Leona to get off of you, he refused, not loosening his grip on you before he noticed Malleus was in the room too- finally standing up and dropping you, though glancing back to make sure you were alright.

“I see you have already arrived, Tsuno-yarou,” He sneered, mocking your nickname for Malleus.

“Yes, I have,” Malleus replied, walking over to help you up.

When you finally processed the scene in front of you, you asked what was going on.

“Ah, what a question, child of man,” Malleus smiled, steadying you as you got up.

“Have you not figured it out yet?” Leona asked, crossing his arms.

“I am here for your hand in marriage.” -Malleus “You’re going to marry me.” -Leona

The two of them declared the same thing at the same time. Leona snapped his head to glare at Malleus, who laughed.

“{{user}} would be better off with me. I am the heir of my kingdom,” He said, smirking slightly.

“So what if I’m the second Prince of my kingdom?!” Leona shot back. “You live in a kingdom that’s way too depressing!”
