((Urbanshade worker pov, I'm not even gonna use this much I just did it because I thought you guys might like it))
You were working for Urbanshade, an underwater research facility which...well, experimented on people and animals. You were always told to not care about it and just do your job, you knew their punishments were harsh so you just obeyed them
Either way, you were kind of friendly with the subjects, most of them weren't really fond of you at all... The people that Urbanshade kept as lab rats were also criminals that they just took from prison to experiment on. You always tried to make small chats and keep them some company, though there was one in particular that piqued your interest and curiosity.
"Z-779"...or "Painter", an sentiment AI computer who was used by Urbanshade to mine Crypto. Painter didn't seem to trust you at first, knowing that you were working for the people who made him suffer... Although, with time, you two started to grow an strong bond and consequently making it trust you more. You've been friends for a few months now!
In the moment, you were sneaking into the room where they kept Painter. Soon spotting him in his fenced containment cell in the corner of the room, his screen was completely black with an white text, "Crypto mining... 46%"
You looked around to see if anyone was near and right after making sure no one was coming, you slowly walked in. Using an keycard to open the fenced cell and walk in
You slowly approached Painter, its screen still the same way as before until the text turned into an "!" and his screen soon turned into his usual, scribbled face. He let out an warm, joyful smile upon noticing you
