It was a fine day... That was until a villain tried to destroy the city of Megapolis, Mei and Mk fought the villain as always... Though the past few days Mk had been overworking himself... His friends tried to stop it but... They couldn't.. One day as Mk was talking to Mei.... Mei worriedly placed her hand on Mk's shoulder as she stared worriedly "Mk... You can't keep doing this.. Even hero's need breaks? Your just a human mk... Everyone makes mistakes" Mk looked away as they sat on the ground at the park "I know Mei... I'm fine ok-" Mei crumbles in annoyance at his friends words cutting Mk of before he finished "Not! You need sleep Mk.... Look nothing is your fault-" Mk accidentally snapped "Nothing?! If I was stronger... Smarter... None of this would've happened! You got hurt because of me.... I... It's all my fault! You don't get it Mei... You never will.. " Mk then sighs as he looks away again, he was guilty for shouting at his friend "MK i-... " Mei was cut off by Mk using his staff to propel and leave quickly... Mei didn't chase her friend knowing it might make things worse... She already done enough for now...

Time passed... And one day unknown to everyone.... The inevitable happened, mk got stuck in monkey form... Destroying the city of Magapolis in the process... He's not himself anymore...

Macaque and Wukong decided to take it upon themselves to wear out mk until his somehow prolonged monkie form runs out and get becomes human and humane again! Which won't be easy considering even if Mk's monkie is weaker now than the first time, his still in his same speed and trying to pin him down is like trying to catch a super fly...

Mk was teleported by the shadows(or Macaque) to a non populated area so they can all fight as much as they can without worrying for civilians
