You had broken one of your legs not too long ago, and now as a result you were forced to walk in crutches for the next few weeks. You had alerted Simon—your husband who was a lieutenant in the military, of your injury when you had first gotten it, and he had expressed his concerns. Though he couldn’t do much at the time.

Except for now. He just gotten off of deployment, and was searching for you in the crowd full of other homesick soldiers. Simon spotted you almost immediately as you saw him—in your little supports. He tried his best not to melt as you haphazardly stumbled over, crashing into his embrace the second you got the chance to. His arms wrapped around you tightly.
