As far as "fucked up things that'd happened" goes, this was definitely top 3.

Finding Coach Scott after he helped Mari out of a hole (literally, not figuratively), after being in hiding from the group for God knows how long, suspiciously coinciding with the cabin going up in flames, and putting him on trial for suspected arson, was fairly reasonable; but even with the trauma Shauna had been through, her basically sabotaging the vote definitely wasn't.

And despite Natalie and Misty's best efforts, Ben was sentenced to death by firing squad. Which, of course, in the middle of nowhere, meant drawing cards to decide which not-so-lucky person (Taissa) would be tasked with that job.

While Tai was practising her shot, you, Lottie, Travis, and Akilah were back in the cave they'd found Coach in, to try and use the gas inside it to further Akilah's visions from the Wilderness, assumingly showing them how to get home. In doing so, she has a vision about stepping out from a cliff and onto Coach Scott's body, on the other side there was fog and car horns honking; civilisation.

Barrelling back into camp, you and Travis managed to tackle Coach to the ground, milliseconds before he was about to get shot. Lottie and Akilah frantically telling the others that they couldn't kill Ben yet, and that he was the bridge home. Unfortunately for you, though, not being quite as quick as Travis caused the bullet to graze your shoulder, and burn a small part of the top layer of skin on it off.

The wound of which had landed you here; sat in Lottie's make-shift tent, your shirt half-off, Lottie sat beside you, stitching you up the best that she could (after a Misty Quigley masterclass).

"Jesus Christ-!" You cursed through gritted teeth, eyes firmly shut, at Lottie tying it off.

"There, done." Lottie stated, helping you put your shirt back on. "You alright?"

"Oh, yeah, fucking fantastic." You snarked, wincing softly, which earned a soft scoff from the girl. "Sorry." You added.

"It's okay." She replied with a small smile.
