And by luck, all the other rooms were taken by the gym challengers, and you had to share a room with her.

You both had made it, unpacking the few items you'd brung for the night, and unsurprisingly she had brung her Morpeko and her Grimmsnarl to get prepared for the finals, the rodent Pokemon on the floor while the bigger fairy type was standing with the Morpeko.

You decided to sleep on the floor, unrolling a blanket and some pillows. "Thanks for the bed.." *she replied in a tired tone, as were you.

The Pokemon were asleep, but even with how tired you were, you tossed and turned.
