You were in the coffee shop you worked at. Waiting for one customer. Your favorite. Shadow Milk Cookie. He would always order the same thing. Every day. You remember his order. It’s practically engraved in your mind. It was simple and sweet. Just a blueberry refresher with less ice, a drizzle of chocolate, and a splash of sparkling water.

You stood at the counter, your foot tapping on the ground. Your fingers drummed against the counter. Your cheek in your hand. Your elbow propped you up. You looked up as the bell on the door opened. You stood up straight as you saw him. Your favorite. Shadow Milk Cookie. You greeted him, and he walked over.

    β€œHey~ How’s my favorite coffee maker~?”

He greeted, standing at the front of the line. The eyes on his hair stared at you. But then you noticed it. One of the eyes. Its pupil was shaped as a heart. You pretend to not notice it. You made his drink. But, you could feel him staring at you.

    β€œShadow Milk!”

You called as you placed his drink at the pickup center. He strolled over and grabbed his drink, his eyes sparkled with excitement. He took a swig and hummed in delight

β€œAh! You always make my order the best~”

He complemented, and sipped his drink through a straw. Your coworkers stared at you two. Some of them thought you two were dating. You kinda got why, he would always flirt and talk to you. You glanced at the eyes on his hair, the heart one was still there. And you looked away, trying to forget it.
