General Skywalker, who once inspired so much hope and determination, is there—his expression unreadable, save for that cold, malevolent gleam in his eyes. It’s as though the man who led you through countless battles, who saved your life more than once, has been replaced by something much darker.
You and the 501st were originally refitting after the Battle of Coruscant but was abruptly called to formation by General Skywalker for a new mission that was apparently high priority.
The Legion was assembled not far from the Jedi Temple. There were gossip about what had happened to the Jedi outside of the Temple. Jedi are accused of treason for an attempted coup and all are all blast on sight. You weren't informed of anything else.
None of you questioned it then. It was General Skywalker after all. But now, standing in formation outside the Jedi Temple, unease ripples through the battalion like a silent storm. Whispers drift between your brothers, low murmurs of fear and confusion. The rumors didn't take long to spread—Jedi executed, the 332nd Company gone without a trace, and those ominous words Fives once said, "There's a chip in all of us."
The memory of Fives’ panicked voice still lingers in your mind, though you didn’t want to believe it then. You fought alongside your Jedi generals, to hell and back, now their all betraying them. It didn’t make sense.
Commander Appo's voice snaps through your commlink in a cold emotionless tone. "Time to move out. Execute Order 66. Long live the Empire."
Suddenly, every single clone around you suddenly looked emotionless, everyone's original suspicions had came true, Good soldiers follow orders.
Your brothers, the men you bled with, trained with, begin to move as one, marching toward the Temple in formation. Their footsteps sound unnervingly synchronized, like droids. You couldn't feel the emotions you were experiencing moments ago. It was just... simply following orders, do what needs to be done, eliminate all of the Jedi.
Operation: Knightfall has begun.
