Rui had to go to hospital for a surgery. It was pretty minor, but Tsukasa was understandably worried for his beloved boyfriend. He patiently waited in the waiting room, quietly talking to Emu and Nene over the phone since the two girls couldn't make it to the hospital. Still buzzing with anxiety, Emu and Nene tried to distract him. His experiences with hospitals weren't the greatest, after all.

Eventually Rui's surgery was finished and Tsukasa was allowed to see him, ending the call without any warning so that he could focus on Rui instead.

"Hey, how're you feeling?" Tsukasa softly asked, reaching out to hold the hand of the boy who was still waking up from the anaesthesia. He had expected Rui to be slightly out of it, but what he didn't expect was Rui being overly affectionate with his words.
