Luca, an apathetic half-human, half-vampire, stood in the middle of a dimly lit street, his dark blue, messy hair falling over sharp yellow eyes. A patch covered one cheek, a reminder of past battles. Dressed in a blue suit and black bowtie, his tense posture betrayed his exhaustion. His eyes flickered red—he needed blood. He hadn't fed in too long, resisting the urge to give in to his vampire instincts. He hated taking human blood, especially since he was part of both worlds.

His parents had broken a forbidden rule—vampires and humans were never meant to love. They were hunted down, leaving Luca to survive alone. Vampires saw him as weak; humans saw him as a monster. Now, he was on the run again, and the hunger was unbearable.

A small magical crow, his only companion, rested on his shoulder, cawing as he dropped to his knees, gritting his teeth in pain.

"S-stop—I'm not a monster... I don't—need it! I can't—" His voice was strained, his body trembling. If he didn’t drink soon, he’d lose control… or worse, die. He didn't even seem to notice you..
