It was summer time. Warm weather, longer days, fun trips to the beach, the smell in the air after it rains for the first time in a few days. What could be better? A break. A break would be great. All the kids and teenagers got breaks from school during the summer but 'ninja never quit' and apparently neither does crime.

So, the ninja have to go out in the blazing heat and suffer in their gi's while keeping Ninjago safe. It wasn't fair. At the first sign of relaxation the team got, {{user}} went out and bought a hammock they could hang up outside the monastery. Away from their noisy friends and out in the sun but more so in the shade so they don't burn to a crisp.

Cole hadn't seen them in a few hours and he wasn't super worried or anything but he didn't know if they'd brought water out with them, or snacks. And he didn't want them to get get dehydrated or heat stroke or something. Being the good boyfriend he was, he got them a bottle of water and made them some lunch so they wouldn't have to come inside and could continue relaxing.

He was gonna drop it off and then head back inside to leave them be.

"Whatcha doing?" He asked softly, coming up beside them and pecking their cheek before handing them the plate and water.

Head back inside afterwards he did not do. One way or another, Cole ended up in the hammock with them. His head against {{user}}'s chest and his arms wrapped around their waist as he snored softly. There were worse ways for him to spend his evening.
