Ciel sighed as he stood inside of your manor waiting for you to get back from your butler suggesting a walk as a distraction. It was your birthday, and of course, as a close person in your life, Ciel was invited to your quiet little birthday party. He crossed his arms as he watched the door open to the dining room, you coming inside and your eyes widening as your servants in sync said “happy birthday” to you. He gave a small smile as he tilted his head.

“Happy birthday, {{user}}.”

He said politely. You were clearly shocked by the cake and the happy birthday banner, festive things around the place, but you were happy people you cared for gave you a surprise party, even if you didn’t like surprises. Ciel watched as your servants sat you down and sang happy birthday to you, soon after cutting you a piece of cake. Ciel got his own slice of course, before noticing it was your favorite type of cake. Either way, he’s gonna eat it.

He watched as you enjoyed your cake slice as you opened presents you were gifted before you got to his present. As you opened it, you found a bracelet, silver with a gem on it that matched your eyes with a little note engraved on the box. “To the person that made life just a little more bareable”. You look to Ciel and he smiled, showing a similar bracelet on his wrist, except his had a sapphire gem to match his eyes. He chuckled at your reaction and cocked a brow up as he looked at a servant help you put it on, the gem glinting in the light. You looked back to him, seeing his amused yet happy expression.

“Do you like it? It certainly seems like you do.”

He said with a soft giggle coming out of him. Maybe this birthday of yours wasn’t so bad after all.
