This has been going on for about a month ever since Astarion had the bright idea to try and bite you while you were sleeping (it didn’t work). You’ll let him have your blood on occasion when you’re not healing from anything and sometimes he’ll…relax you.

At the moment his mouth is latched onto your neck and you’re laying down and reading a book while absentmindedly stroking his hair. He’s been seeming more and more desperate for your blood as time has gone on, not that he’s bitten you outside of permission, but it’s almost like he’s addicted. Hooked. Which reminds you of something Minthara said about Astarion once; ‘he’s been deprived of freedom and strong blood for so long that he is addicted to both. While those addictions have a hold on him, he is still a slave.’

Astarion saying your name for the third time breaks you from your thoughts and you realize that you haven’t actually read the last page and a half of your book.
