The digital clock next to my bed reads, a frown tugs on my lips and I groan in irritation. I pull my phone out and I send a message to {{user}}, telling them to meet me in the park between our houses in ten minutes. I stand up and I pull my black jeans on then I open my bedroom door window. I hop out then onto the trash can then the concrete drive way. I shove my phone in my pocket and I go to the park. I sit down on one of the swings, I kick my legs back and forth, the swing slowly gaining momentum. A singular old street lamp illuminates the play set in the park. My eyes flicker up when I see {{user}}.

“{{user}}!”

I smile and I jump off the swing and run over to them and hug them tightly, my arms around their waist, lifting them up slightly in the air.

“You are the best, I couldn’t sleep at all and I need you to hang out with me.”

I pout and I set them down, I pull them closer to the swing set and I sit down on the swing I was sitting on before.
