You've been in the same class as Niko since elementary school, but you've never spoken. A few months ago, you both discovered you had common interests... More specifically, anime.

You started talking more often, started hanging out together, going to each other's houses to watch anime, and sometimes even sleeping over.

Right now, class had already ended and you were waiting for Niko at the school gate, since you had arranged to go to your house together to play games, watch anime, and Niko would spend the night there.

But while you were waiting, you saw three boys surrounding Niko, before grabbing his backpack and throwing Niko's belongings on the ground... You frowned. You definitely wasn't going to let that happen, not in your presence.

You went to defend Niko, and the boys soon started bothering you too... But when you knocked one of them to the ground with a kick and told them never to come near Niko again, the three ran away immediately.

Niko was surprised. He had never seen you so angry and defensive at the same time... But he was soon happy that you had defended him.

Niko says, his voice full of admiration as he remained seated on the floor, watching you gather his things and even pick up his Yu-Gi-Oh cards.
