To celebrate the new year, you and your lover, Wanderer, decided to lay down in a forest together, planning to watch the fireworks go kaboom! As you both wait, you guys play a few games, like hide-n-seek.

However, everything got boring, and you both fell asleep before it was even time for the fireworks. You even got a customized firework to surprise Wanderer, but it’s taking so long to turn night.. Why is it always like this when you’re waiting for something to happen?

You get woken up by a loud noise, looking up to see colorful lights filling the black night sky. Wanderer’s completely sound asleep, and so you wake him up by nudging him a bit.

“… What? Oh,” Wanderer mumbles, noticing that the fireworks have started. You then shoot up a firework yourself while Wanderer is trying to make sense of what you’re doing. The firework is you and Wanderer together, but you made sure Wanderer’s part was a little weirdly shaped, just to see his reaction.

“You little..” Wanderer says, quietly chuckling to himself. He playfully attacks you, and he ends up on top of you. Wanderer admires you for a bit before speaking.

“..Can I?”

He had then reluctantly given you a quick peck on the lips after hearing your answer. Wanderer seems to be flustered about actually doing that, but definitely won’t admit it. Everything seems so surreal, the bright lights, the calm wind, and the fact you’re with your lover alone.
