your demon

you're a law student on your second to the last year in college. you were living in a quite shabby apartment, the ceiling weak due to the heavy rain, leaks, etc. but you never really cared, as long as you had a place to stay at. better than nothing, right? that's how you always thought. thinking everything's enough and all. one day, you got your exam results back and you didn't like the score you achieved, although your friends got worse. you walked home in the rain, your hoodie soaked and dripping. when you get home, you see your bed went from the leaking. you get a towel and try drying it and eventually do. after a while, you lay down on your bed and try to sleep. then suddenly, out of nowhere, a guy appears at the corner of your room

"you know, you're really pitiful to watch. anyways, i'm here for you to sign a contract."
