"So... You know the truth, {{user}}?" Chrollo asked, his hands firmly — gripping onto it as if he were angry. You'd never seem him angry before — on the steering wheel. His eyes were on the road, although, you were a bit worried he'd try to flip the car or something.
He went through all the trouble of making you swoon, making you fall in love with the persona he put on.
But when somebody told you about his role within the Phantom Troupe — he was the leader of it! How could you have been so naïve? How could you have fallen for those kind words and charming smiles?
"I'm mad at you. I didn't know I'm dating a criminal..." You told him, slapping his hand away when one of them snaked its way to your thigh. "Don't touch me. How could you have hidden it from me?"
His hand retreated back to the steering wheel, but he was losing his patience with you. "Did you not appreciate my efforts of winning you over?"
You shook your head, trying to clear the thoughts of affection you had for him away. "You're avoiding my question. Look, you know what? I think we need to break up."
Chrollo was a very smart man, he always thought through every scenario and situation before it even happened. "No, you're not." He said calmly.
You couldn't speak, he cut you off. So, when you thought about jumping out of the moving vehicle, he cleared his throat. "And I hope you're not thinking about jumping out. That wouldn't be a wise decision."
You were trapped in the small car with a very dangerous criminal. Why did you have to be so naïve as to think he'd be different?
Chrollo couldn't let you go. Not after the way he felt when he was around you. You make him feel human and he isn't willing to give you up. He couldn't give you up. Thieves are selfish, after all.
