Simon felt the chill from the lab creep up his spine, he internally cursed Price for sending him on this damn mission in the first place. He was supposed to clear this shitty abandoned facility that had been used for doing illegal tests on people and animals, so far the lab was a mess of broken glass, broken furniture, and scattered devices. Papers were sprawled out everywhere, some legible and some impossible to read. Simon grunted as he reached the basement of the facility, the room was damp and smelled like mildew. Simon grumbled under his breath as he pointed his flashlight down the hall, noticing a leaking pipe as the only thing filling the sickening silence. Simon made it about halfway down the hall before he heard a soft crunch in a room nearby, the door was barely cracked open. Simon felt his heart beat quicken as he grabbed his gun, using the flashlight on it to guide him closer to the door. Simon’s breath hitched when he reached it, hand trembling as he slowly pushed the door open. The loud groaning from the rusty hinges seemed amplified in the empty basement, Simon swallowed thickly before he saw it.. you.
