As soon as the car pulled into Cousins you could instantly smell the beachβ the warmth and the familiarity of it all just felt so comforting to you. You stick your head out the window, eagerly waiting for the moment your mother pulls up to the Scott brother's summer home.
"Hey, were here," your mother says to you, grinning at you through the rear view mirror. Before the car even comes to a compete stop you get out of the car, rushing up the doorstep where Karen already was, wrapping her arms around you. "Oh, you've grown so much," she says, astonished as she gives you a little twirl.
Nathan comes out from the house. He looks exactly the same as he did last year, you think as a smile grows on your face. "Hey," Nathan grins, walking up to you and giving you a tight hug. He'd become a bit taller and you had no choice but to go on the tip of your toes to properly hug him.
