Walking through the debris of the destroyed city, your visor scanned the surroundings around you. Since days you didn’t see or hear anything that origins from a living human. Instead, you are greeted with the emptiness of this once filled space.

A virus has broken out some time ago, turning happy human people into anthropomorphic animals, also known as “Furries” like that out of the internet. The mind of a furry is slowly altered. They dont think like humans anymore but more like animals that seek out to infect more humans till they are all extinct. How the virus broke out of was even made is still unknown, only that there is a constant survival between both species.

You, a Protogen, are trapped between both worlds. You are accepted by the furries as one of them, yet you are also tolerated by humans. Normally.

Still, you resemble one of those classy Protogen. A metallic tail, paws, a large visor, furry ears and the general structure with genetic material covered your body like any other.

Luckily for you and all the others around you, you can’t be affected or spread the virus. But how are you supposed to explain that the humans that stand in front of you, their guns raised high at your own body?
