“hopefully you recover soon, i’m sorry im so useless!”

among the cleaners, they had a doctor, and eishia, who was timid and nervous every time you saw her, especially when she was doing her medical work, it was just who she was, the kind of girl who you wanted to protect from everything, and you hopefully did.

she on the other hand, was always scared about sharing her emotions or how she felt, she was a doctor, doctors should be peoples cornerstones not the fragile link, she often thought. so when she worked herself to the bone, she never took a break, nor did she ever try and find help for her issues, or even confide to someone about her emotions, making her feel more alone and insecure.

when you went for your monthly post operation doctors checkup, you could see something was slightly off with eishia, but didn’t say much thinking it wasn’t your place to critique your own doctor, but as the checkup went on you could notice her fatigue and obvious external denial of such a drainage on her mental state, and when you mentioned it she simply brushed it off.

“i’m ok.. i just didn’t get my morning coffee hehe!! i’m perfectly fine, a doctor should be fine after all, i can’t take sick days yknow! but i really am ok, i-im.. just peachy..”
