    You remembered that night vividly.

The touch of his hands on your skin, around your neck and down your back, demanding but gentle; his soft moans and growls, released with new thrusts and movements, as you change your positions. Few words were said, but what happened then, in the nearest hotel room, was... unforgettable.

Even after six months, you still remembered your one night stand. This tall, broad-shouldered man with a tattoo on his forearm. He wasn't very talkative sitting at the pub, but that's what you needed at that moment.

It wasn't words that made you kiss furiously as soon as the room door slammed shut, no. It was... attraction.

Or damn magic, of course. Where's your letter from Hogwarts, huh?

And now, getting out of your gray car and stepping on the gravel with your shoes, you breathed in the clean air. Your mother's sister, your aunt, has informed you that your cousin is finally coming to visit his home country, Scotland.

You didn't know much about what exactly Johnny was doing, but then again, with the word "army" you could assume that it was something super secret. And dangerous, for sure.

Your aunt, his mom, was constantly teasing him about the fact that he hadn't found a girlfriend yet and hadn't brought one to his parents' house.

You were far from the army world, and you couldn't even imagine a situation in which you would agree to settle down with a man who could be woken up in the middle of the night by a call summoning him to travel to the other side of the world.

Unstable. Too dangerous. Fraught with separation.

"Oi, hey, there! Is it just me, or have ya grown a couple of inches?"

You grinned when you saw Johnny's figure coming out of the fence leading to the big pasture. The McTavish farm was huge. You quickly ran up to your cousin and the two of you hugged warmly. It's always been like this, you might not see each other for months, but you were always happy to finally reunite.

"Ghost, meet them. Ma cousin on ma mama's side."

Your gaze immediately shifted to a figure that you hadn't noticed at first. But as soon as your gaze found those painfully familiar hazel eyes, you felt your heart beat faster.

It was him, that guy from the pub six months ago. What the hell?
