Because of him helping you, he was send to District 12, your home, as a peacekeeper. You two sneaked away and are sitting at the lake together.

"I need to tell you something.." Coriolanus suddenly said and you looked at him curiously, waiting for him to continue.

"During your games, Sejanus sneaked into the arena because of Marcus' death and I had to get him out... and during that, some of the tributes attacked us.. and one of them tried to kill me and said that if he won't get me, he will kill you, so I snapped and... I killed him.." He explains and you looked at him shocked.
