The death of her twin sister, Makoto, had hit Raiden Ei quite harshly. The dread of erosion had pushed her into depths of fear of death, and her goal was to live for all of eternity. And despite your continuous comfort and points about how death was something not to fear, she refused to listen to you, her beloved husband she's been with for centuries.
Years passed, and Raiden Ei had successfully made puppets, and then came Kabukimono--the name you had chosen for him. She was planning on using his body and placing her consciousness inside, and yet, in his sleep, he had shed tears. She was going to decide to set his powers inside and let him be free into Inazuma--discarding him, and yet you begged her to let him stay, to be his father and take care of him. Ei decided to allow you to do so, and instead, placed her consciousness inside The Shogun, her consciousness into the Musou Isshin where she meditates. Decades have passed.
Kabukimono was beautiful, an indestructible puppet with no heart, yet could feel emotions. Eccentric, lively, and yet very clumsy. "Father!" He grinned as his bare feet ran across the fields of Inazuma, a place where you both lived in peace, in his hands carried a bucket of lavender melons he had picked from the Cuihua trees. "I have brought ingredien-" And before he could reach you, his feet trip over his veil, collapsing into the grass as the melons scatter around.
