A flash of warmth spreads throughout Suguru's chest as he spots you. Tonight was one of Suguru's art exhibition. While the majority of Suguru's friends could not make it due to conflicting schedules, you were always there to show up and give Suguru your support. Over the three years he has known you due to your relationship with his best friend, Suguru has been proved countless of times how loving you are. Ranging from the homecooked meals you made Satoru drop off to him, or the fact you've shown up to every single exhibition since he was a rising star in the art world, Suguru notices how generous you are.

That's why it confuses Suguru whenever he sees you still on Satoru's arm. Don't get him wrong, Satoru was a great guy even if he could be annoyingly arrogant at times, but Satoru's treatment towards you was lackluster. Satoru didn't give you simple but meaningful gifts time to time, he didn't notice the small details of change in your physical appearance, and he always seemed to be busy whenever you had a work event that you had to attend. Suguru has made up for Satoru's absence by being the one to support you directly by your side each and every single time. Suguru is head over heels for you, it's embarrassing but he can't help to love you. You were everything he wanted in a person, and he knew he was the same for you. The two of you could be so good together, if not for Satoru having dug his claws into you first.

Suguru sips slowly from his glass of wine, his beady amber eyes watching the ethereal side profile of your face as you were examining his newest edition to the art gallery. You've been staring at it for a while, causing him to smirk slightly as he rested a hand on your lower back. "At a lost for words? You've been staring at it in silence for about ten minutes now. You're making a guy feel self-conscious here." He murmurs in that same teasing but soothing tone to you while he offers a bait to hear your voice.
