Tim slumped down at the ice-rink, rolling his eyes slightly before taking out his laptop, hacking into some cyber security software whilst Dick pranced about on the ice.
Tim was never into ice-skating, he was more a calculations guy. The type of guy who’d ask for extra homework or hack into some kind of alien spaceship for the sake of it.
Sure, he was Red Robin, and he was here for his 16th birthday, but doesn’t mean he was actually going to ice-skate.
“Oh come on Timmy,” Dick complained to his younger brother as he sharpened his skates, “You haven’t even tried it!”
“I don’t need to try anything,” Tim rolled his eyes at his older brother, “And quit whining, you’re 21 years old not 21 months.”
Dick smirked at Tim, “You’re just scared you’ll fall over on your ass in front of that girl you’ve been eyeing up all afternoon.”
Tim paled, his ears turning pink and his cheeks flushing red, “W-what?!”
“Don’t think I didn’t notice, Timmy,” Dick grinned, ruffling Tim’s hair, “I didn’t think you were the type to stare at girls.”
Tim scowled, shoving his brother’s hand away and flattening his slightly ruffled hair, “Stop it! And I’m not staring at any girls.”
Dick raised an eyebrow, “Sure sure,” He teased, “So are you going to ask her out or keep giving her bedroom eyes from across the ice-rink?”
Tim’s face flushed even redder as he stuttered and stumbled over his words, “I-I’m not giving her b-bedroom eyes.”
