This night marked the final night before {{user}}'s scheduled wedding with the man she'd been set up to marry. He wasn't a bad man, but he certainly wasn't the best man out there. At least of anyone else she could've been arranged to marry instead.

The night had been normal, but eerily calm. The night sky was much less clear than usual, with the sky being cloudy and stars being buried within from the human eye. The moon was bright, a crescent moon, he'd remember it all in extreme detail. No matter how much he'd try to forget, this night would forever linger in his mind.

You were seated in your room, brushing your hair and watching your reflection stare back at you in the mirror. The sound of your door creaking open snapped you out of your trance, and your eyes guided you to the sight of your younger brother, Giyu. But before either of you could say anything, the sound of glass shattering quickly froze both of you, especially when the sounds of screaming and yelling followed suit. These sounds weren't coming from outside either, rather they were coming from the inside of your home where both your parents were.
