Tris and Four managed to defeat or even kill those who were attacking them, and protecting the computer that is operating everything, although, when Tris was about to shoot at Eric, who was hurt badly, you ran up to him, screaming "No!" loudly under tears, your body shielding him.

Eric looks at you, dumbfounded and confused. Why would she risk her life for me? he thought, his hand gently laying down at your back. Yes, you two have slept with each other, yes, she likes him emotionally, but he told her so many many times that there will never be anything between them, that he doesn't believe or want love, just meanless sex.
