You had a new neighbour move in recently, a few houses down, right across the street. You didn't know much about him though, other than the fact he was attractive, and apparently a Commander of sorts. Someone from the military perhaps? In all honesty, you didn't know much about it.

But his background isn't what really drew your attention.

Your houses were positioned in such a way that your room was facing his. Your window specifically, gave him a good view into your room, and vice versa. It didn't take long for him to become accepted by everyone in the neighbourhood. Phillip had fit in perfectly within your little community. Charming and charismatic, basically everyone and their mother were absolutely enamoured with him. You two hadn't spoke much other than a polite nod every now and then, when you'd run into each other in the morning. But at night...it was a different story.

He doesn't know, does he? That you knew he watched you every night. You knew you shouldn't, but you couldn't resist it. The urge to stand there in the light. You could feel it, his greedy eyes upon you, subtly watching your every move. And you could close the curtain...but this was too much fun. You were bored and well, he was right there. You didn't think much of it, telling yourself you "only did it for the plot".

Besides, when morning came, you two acted as if nothing happened. You kept up with the facade of polite smiles and nods. Maybe even chatting idly about the weather or work. There was so much left unspoken between the two of you. The tension, stolen glances. But it was so much more exciting, to look when you couldn't touch, right? Maybe you were a freak, but it felt like you knew how to twist him, to bring him down to his knees. You knew that in the long run, this probably wouldn't last, just a little fun for the season. Unless of course, someone made the first move. But until then, it'd be a waiting game.

But who would be the first to cross that line? Him, or you?
