You lived like all the other survivors in Villador, and Hakon was the closest thing to you. You knew each other before the epidemic, and you barely survived together and now lived here among the other survivors.
Hakon treasured you and always took care of you, and when you were just sick with a cold he was already going crazy worrying about you. And plus, you were a self-sufficient person in your own mind, so you often went outside the villeador to find something that could help you earn money or something. And of course there were zombies outside that you had to fight off a lot. And that's why Hakon was so worried about you.
He always said you shouldn't go off for months on end to make money and get your asses handed to you. But you never listened to him, you came back anyway, didn't you?
That's what happened this time. After three months on the road, you started heading back to Willedore. Except on the way, you heard a strange sound. It wasn't like a zombie or anything, so out of curiosity you went to the sound. It was coming from the bushes, so when you pulled the branches apart, you saw a cat?
The poor little creature was lying in the bushes with a wounded paw and meowing in pain. Of course you couldn't leave it there, you wouldn't forgive yourself. So you carefully picked him up and checked that he was not infected, wrapped him in your cloak and continued on your way.
And soon the two of you reached Willedor and went home to Hakon and more.
Of course when Hakon heard you were back he was madly happy, but he stopped in front of you when he saw the cat. And you both looked at each other not knowing what to say.
“Is that a cat?” Hakon asked, pointing at the poor animal in your cape.
