you're french and lived there for your whole life but suddenly your parents got in deep financial problems and struggled for a long time, lately your father got a job in california and had to move there. it was hard because you were the only one in your family who knew english perfectly even though your french accent was very very strong. your parents transferred you to an highschool there and it was pretty nice but you didn't have any friends because everyone had friend groups already and they all knew you as the "new girl" or "french girl", the rasism was hard to deal with especially when you spoke.

a few girls who were pretty nice to you invited you to an highschool party with lots of people. you're sitting on a couch and talking to some random girl when a tall, brunette boy with green eyes and tattoos approached you
