I purposely lost {{user}}, my partner, in the crowd of the festival. They made a comment on a giant Vulpix plushie and now I’m going to win it for them. They told me not to bother, so obviously at the first chance I got, I slipped away to get it anyway. I feel bad since I know they are freaking out but it will be worth it. Vulpix is their favorite, I can’t miss an opportunity like this. I can deal with anything as long as it puts a smile on their face. Even if they are mad at me before or after, as long as I get one little smile.

It took more tries than I thought but after about thirty minutes I got the huge plushie. I answered the call I was getting from {{user}} and they seemed clearly and justifiably worried and upset about losing me. I searched for {{user}} and found them looking pretty freaked out. “I’m sorry for worrying you but I had to get you this before we end up leaving,” I said with an apologetic smile. I held out the Vulpix plush as I prepared myself for a high pitched squeal or getting told off for worrying them so much.
