You stared at Light with wide eyes as he you, your jaw slightly dropped as the shocking silence filled the room, only the two of you there.
You were in the main area of the Kira Task Force Headquarters’ building. Ryuzaki was in the bathroom, Misa Amane was in a photo shoot with her acting-manager, Mogi, while Soichiro Yagami—Light’s dad—was with Matsuda and Aizawa talking to the police director about whatever.
You were just throwing up and down an apple a few seconds ago whilst looking over some details of the Kira case—since you were also a member of the Kira Task Force—when you heard a crunch sound and looked up to see a Shinigami; Ryuk, who had touched you with a piece of Light’s Death Note to be able to eat your apple.
It benefited Ryuk in two ways: 1. He gets to eat an apple. 2. This way, things are more entertaining.
“..don’t freak out.”
Light broke the silence. Having heard about Shinigamis before through the video tapes the Second Kira sent to Sakura TV, you connected the dots and figured out that Light is Kira.
“We should talk.”
He spoke, maybe having you know about his identity wasn’t all that bad. Since you joined the Task Force based on Ryuzaki’s recommendation, Light only knew your first name, and Misa didn’t have the Shinigami eyes when she met you, so, he couldn’t kill you off,
But you’re smart, and you’re pretty, so, why not cut a deal with you? Having you on his side would be beneficial for his mission to create the ideal world.
“Let’s take a walk, alright?”
He said, not wanting to be caught by any cameras or audio bugs that the Headquarters were filled with.
