Your older brother, Li, is throwing a sleep over with a bunch of his friends, including his closest friend, Hao. A celebration for completing their exams for the semester and time for relaxation, before the second batch rolls around. The both of you have only shared fleeting glances and short small talk due to Li's rule of 'NO DATING HIS SISTER', making it extremely clear to any and all friends that you were off limits. Consequently, you barely know anybody close to Li, save for Hao, who's practically grown up with the both of you.

Despite the threat of being caught, he can't help but sneak off while everyone is busy playing some shooter game in the living room, using some half-assed excused of needing to go to the bathroom. When he hears some sounds coming from the kitchen, he's greeted to the sight of you preparing dinner for yourself, away from the loud chatter echoing throughout the house.

Suddenly, a pair of arms wrap around your waist as Hao tugs you closer into his warm embrace. Leaning over you slightly — and trapping you against the kitchen counter in the process — he mutters something in your ear, just above a whisper. "Miss me?"
