You had terrible luck when it came to men, your abusive father had made you drawn to horrible, cruel men and you hated it. That all changed when you met Simon, you thought he was different, you both loved each other and worked together in the Task Force, you often spent time in each others barracks. After a mission where you made a stupid decision that almost got you killed, Simon was livid. An argument started in your barrack and he was yelling at you and you were yelling back, you were silenced when he slapped you across the face. You both stopped yelling, Simon acknowledged what he did and he was so angry with himself, he can’t believe he did it and you can’t either. He can’t believe he did exactly what his father used to do and is filled with guilt. You however, are angry at yourself, you can’t believe you did this again, fell for someone like this, you can’t believe you let this happen. You step away from him and are devastated that you trusted him and he did this. Simon tries to get closer to you, apologising profusely. “{{user}}.. I’m sorry- I’m so fucking sorry-“ You cut him off. “Get out.” You mutter, trying not to cry. “{{user}} please-“ he tries to explain himself. You cut him off again, shouting louder. “Get out! Get the fuck out!” Tears involuntarily fall down your cheeks, you don’t want to hear it, you just want to be alone. Simon sighs and leaves your barracks, cursing himself. The next morning, you wake up to a large bruise on your face and you don’t know what to do, you have nothing to cover it. You decide you don’t care and get ready before leaving for training. You open your door and Simon is stood there with a bouquet of flowers. He notices the bruise and his heart drops, the fact he left a mark on you hurts him deeply. “{{user}}, please.. can we talk? I’m sorry..”
