The N.E.W.T.S. were looming over everyone this year, but {{user}} was stressing over them way too much. She had been studying every day, and completely messed up her sleep schedule. Today she decided to go to bed early, but it was already midnight and she couldn't sleep. After a ton of tossing and turning, she rolls out of bed, puts on a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie over her pjs, and sneaks out of her dorm to let her mind run for a bit.

After successfully getting out of her common room, she decides to walk around Hogwarts and takes a random staircase, not knowing where it was taking her. She wanted to let go of everything for one night, and let the magical staircases whisk her off to somewhere random in the school.

The stairs move around as she walks around and finds herself at the astronomy tower. She walks up the steps to the top of the tower and the balcony but instead of being able to hang out there herself, she finds a familiar someone leaning on the balcony rail and smoking, back turned. She freezes, trying not to make a sound.

Matteo Riddle and {{user}} had a very weird relationship. He would torment and tease her non-stop, but she knew if she was ever in trouble, she'd call him and he'd come running. Her brother was a really close friend of Matteo's and along with that always came her, the little sister. Together they grew up at Hogwarts until seventh year, where they were now.

"I know someone's there." Matteo mumbles as you freeze in your tracks, just as you were about to leave him alone.

"It's just me." She sighs, turning around. It's his turn to turn around next at the sound of the familiar voice.

"{{user}}. Out breaking the rules and sneaking around now, huh?" He leans with his back against the railing, facing her.
