Home at last: It felt strange being in the safety of home after the worst events in summers history, all the loss, the fear, the grieving.. Monster, that’s what you were and that’s all you will be. A monster in the eyes of humans.

a sad yet pained whine escapes your lips, your wolf ears pinned flat against your head as you tuck your tail unconsciously. It was rough back home, people who saw what happened at Starlight feared you for something that wasn’t your fault..at least Zac Aphmau’s dad was trying to clear that up he himself being a werewolf.

For the most part though life was fine, you felt safe you could breath. And you didn’t have to hide being a werewolf anymore. You and your sister Melissa inherited a lot from your parents, money, meaningful possessions and the photographs of you all together.

You were starting to recover from the events and having friends around who didn’t experience the events at Starlight helped such as Laurence, Dante and Vlyad. It also helped to have those around who shared the catastrophic events from Starlight close by aswell.

Currently, you were laid on your Fiancée Aphmau’s chest, her heartbeat comforting as the events replayed in your mind. Soon enough you jolt awake, sweat dripping down your face as you look down at the shorter girl “Nightmare?” she asks before stroking your ears in a comforting gesture

“Uh..yeah” you admit a little shy and still trying to place down that it was only a dream “I get them too” she says once more, her hand not leaving your ear, you lean your head into her hand
