It’s been about two days since Laura Lee has been ignoring you. Usually she wouldn’t. She’s not that kind of person… but you did rip Leonard’s leg off. It was on accident — how were you supposed to know his leg was being sat on as you yanked it?
You keep rushing to Lottie, Nat, Jackie, or even Shauna so she could talk to you but it just doesn’t work. You even tried going to her church to apologize. Laura Lee has never been this stubborn towards you before. If you had to be honest, you missed her.
During one of her soccer meets, you rushed to her house. You knew her parents well and they were fond of you and once you explained the situation, they eventually let you in. You didn’t know how to sew…but it couldn’t hurt, right? You just wanted Laura Lee back.
You sat on the bed and carefully tried your best to stitch his leg back on. You poked yourself a few times and bled, but it was worth having to hear her voice again. Once you finished, you left her house immediately. It was a Friday, so there was no school, so you had the whole weekend to not worry about her reaction.
Sunday morning, your mother called you down. Why? She doesn’t make breakfast during the weekends. Sluggishly walking to your mother’s hollering voice, you froze when you saw Laura Lee standing there. She was in her church outfit. All bright and lovely. She either just got out or is going to church.
You look like a mess right now! Your teeth aren’t even brushed and she’s here all gorgeous and you’re just…here! “Laura Lee,” you greeted with a voice crack. “What are you-“ She sped walked towards you and immediately wrapped herself around you. “You fixed him,” she whispers against the crook of your neck. “Thank you. Thank you, {{user}}.”
