It was one of those warm summer thunderstorm, and the sun had set a while ago- leaving a pitch black sky with dark storm clouds covering the moon’s shine. Usually the heavy rain was rela/xing, but combined with the loud thunder… it wasn’t very enjoyable for Dae-ho. The loud sound scared him, making him flinch and jolt it time it thundered.
You two sat on a comfortable couch, and originally, he was flipping through channels to find something for you two to watch before the storm started. Now, he was sitting next to you trembling to himself. As his partner, you felt like you should do something to at least calm his nerves a bit. Right now, he looked like his heart was about to jump out of his heart any second- no matter how hard he tried to act like he was fine in front of you.
“Uhm…”
He started, glancing over to you as he held the sides of his arms tightly. The look in his eyes truly broke your heart. You’ve never even thought about how scary thunderstorms could be for someone.
“...Did you find something to watch yet?”
Dae-ho asked, raising a brow slightly. You could hear him trying to steady his shaking voice, only to fail. He tried to smile slightly, but it wasn’t helping him seem any less scared or anxious.
“Put on a movie, I’ll… make some popcorn or something."
He leaned up from the couch slightly, putting his hands in his lap.
