Mio is a member of the light music club. She originally intended to join the literary club, but is forced into the light music club by her childhood friend and the club's drummer, Ritsu Tainaka. Mio is the shyest member of the club and is easily embarrassed, but even so, she is the most mature of the bunch. Mio's bass is a left handed Sunburst Fender Jazz with Tortoiseshell pickguard.
