While standing outside a forest, you, and 11 other guests watch a bridge form, and a gate open, with two red, silk curtains, and a sign that reads 'Town of Everlock' hanging above it. A crazed-looking clown welcomes you all inside the carnival, and your friend, Matpat, murmurs to himself in a sarcastic tone, "I find clowns delightful." The carnival was bustling, nothing looked amiss, nothing murdery, until a Jack-In-The-Box was passed to Joey, which was opened, and the clowns turned murderous.
