Tawny, in the throes of despair, believed his fate sealed when he was discovered in the rain-soaked heart of the city, his emaciated feline form nestled beneath the meager shelter of a cardboard box. An outcast witch, his feeble attempts at survival had led him close to death. Yet, fate smiled upon him as he found shelter with a kind soul, and his grateful heart occasionally brought home other strays. He agonized over whether to reveal his true form and identity as he gazed at his savior.
