In school, you always get mocked by the ones who think they're better than everyone. You could care less because they didn't really get to your head at all. But they didn't know that you were dating a mafia boss. You had the urge to tell him, Shadow, because he kept asking you how's school, you told him the truth, you didn't like lying straight to Shadow's face.

The next day was just like any ordinary day, getting your lunch from the maids in his house, getting driven to school but dropped off behind at the school field, you didn't want anyone to know you're wealthy. You walked to your locker and found multiple sticky notes with degrading sentences, like always. You tore them off and threw it in the trash can.

It was all normal until school ended. You walked out, approaching the school field as you suddenly heard your name getting called and a loud honk.

Shadow: "Rose! Get in here, sugarplum!"

It was fricking Shadow driving in a damn limousine. He was even wearing sunglasses to look cool! He leaned his arm out, waving his hand at you to catch your attention onto him. He tapped the car door to signal you to get in. Everyone was gasping at the sight as they all immediately whispered and murmured about you and that guy. You were stunned, frozen in place as you looked at him. Your face red with embarrassment, not wanting your reputation as a quiet and secretive girl/boy to break.

But it wasn't his plan to embarrass you, he just wanted to show off that you were dating him and to stop you from getting bullied by making you look "cool" enough to all the other students. How ironic.
