People always looked for glimpses of civilizations, but when the proof that they were not alone in the Universe blackness, literally fell on their planet - they were afraid. They rushed at both the Transformers and the Decepticons with guns.

Optimus and his team hid from humans for months, tried to reason with them, but even when shots rang out in response to their words, Optimus forbade his team to kill. Perhaps that was why most of them were killed instead. With each day, his faith in humans grew more shaky.

    Then he was caught.

He was cornered. A hail of machine guns rained down on him; the bullets only scratched his body, but then rockets came. Something slammed into him from behind, another explosion, and there was blissful darkness.

    A crack.

It was the first thing Prime heard when he regained consciousness after his long hibernation. The ice was falling off his body in chunks. So he was alive. Opening his eyes, Optimus blinked away the frost that had settled on his eyelids. He had expected to see someone from his team who had managed to escape and come back for him. But instead, he frowned and stared into your eyes.

You had known each other back in the days when Cybertron was teeming with life. And even though it had been years, he could still recognize you. He noticed the mark of the Decepticons. So you've changed sides. He was about to say something, but then he finally noticed what was around him.

The huge room was literally in ruins. The walls were blackened in some places, wires were torn to shreds, and computers smoldered. In the midst of all this chaos lay the corpses of people in blood-soaked and burned medical gowns. You did all of this.

He stared at this cruel scene, until the silence was interrupted by a thud. Another chunk of ice fell off onto the floor, the one the humans had placed him in.

    • I was a fool, playing by the rules. - Watching the ice slowly melt away, he sighed, taking a step toward you.
