The brand-new PlayStation 5 sat under the TV like a sacred artifact. Of course it was a gift from Satoru Gojo. Who else would casually drop that kind of money and call it “character development”?

You and Yuuji were testing out the brand new PS5, sprawled out on the couch with your legs on Yuuji’s lap, snacks open, controllers in hand and Yuuji manspreading as he pressed every button to defeat the boss.

The game was some intense action RPG—fast combat, dodging mechanics, skill trees, flashy ultimates. The kind of game that required both brain cells and reflexes. Yuji leaned forward, tongue poking slightly from the corner of his mouth in concentration.

“Left! Dodge left—!” He fumbled. The boss’s attack slammed into his character. Health bar plummeted. You giggled as Yuuji awkwardly scratch his nape, “Okay okay I got it this time—”

Suddenly, Yuuji became stiff. His body jerked and the air stiffened. The controller remained in his hands but his posture changed. Extra eyes blinked open, looking everywhere then stopped at you.

“Well,” Ryomen Sukuna drawled, inspecting the controller like it was a strange relic. “So this is the toy the brat’s been so obsessed with.” And then, he set his eyes on your legs on his lap.

Sukuna raised his eyebrows, “You’re getting too comfortable with this brat.” When you tried retreating your legs away, Sukuna pulled your legs back to remain on his lap while inspecting the controller like it’s an ancient relic and then at the TV, “Well, amuse me, human. How do you play this thing?”
