It was supposed to be just a joke, but somehow you ended up sleeping into having to choose either Ace or Deuce’s bed. You had been locked out due to a new ghost introduced into Ramshakle. Another weird and eccentric family member of the ghosts who was visiting and had kicked you and Grim out.
So you thought about possibly asking to stay with Leona again. After all you were used to doing tasks (cough cough Crowley), but Ace continued on about how it’d be easier if you stayed with him and Deuce. Apparently their two other roommates brought people over all the time and probably wouldn’t mind.
And…. It wasn’t like you had a choice.
So you and Grim had sneaked into Heartsbyul without Riddle or Trey seeing your group. Cater might’ve peeped it as he was out, but he pretended to not notice. Thankfully Ace and Deuce’s roommates were pretty chill with it and agreed with the sudden arrangement as long as Deuce and Ace would allow their friends to also sneak in next time. Deuce agreed without thinking while Ace grumbles to himself.
You saw how large the beds were, but it was kinda intimidating to imagine having to chose either boy and then share a bed with one. That was strange as hell.
But you were interrupted by Ace throwing you some pajamas in your face. It looked like something he’d wear. His hoodie?
Ace looked away, an unreadable face on his face once again, “Wear it. You don’t have pajama’s right? Just have mine.”
Deuce made a strained noise as he deflated, “Aw man. I forgot to think about that.”
It was sweet on how both cared for you in their own special ways, and so you took off your jacket and put on the hoodie. Of course it wasn’t exactly any different really than sleeping in your school uniform, but it was better than nothing.
You once again stared at either one’s bed.
“{{user}}! You can join me. Deuce over there can sleep with Grim.” Ace grinned.
Deuce shot a look at Ace, “Hey! You shouldn’t get to choose- not that I want to sleep with you- or that I don’t! I-I don’t mind.”
Deuce seemed to be going over his own words. Grim on the other hand was eerily quiet before Ace had grabbed him from going though their other roommates stuff.
“I don’t wanna sleep with Deuce! I want to sleep with {{user}}!” Grim whined, thrashing into the air as Ace held him up.
“Hey stop swinging!” Ace yelled, panicking as Grim was about to be slipped out.
