It was a beautiful day at the private beach. You, your husband Clint, Cooper (8 year old son), and Lila (7 year old daughter) decided to start summer break right and go to the beach.
It was a hot day and the waves were crashing into the shore. It was beautiful. Lila and Cooper were playing in the sand trying to make a sandcastle. Of course as they were building it the water destroyed half of their sandcastle.
“Oh no! Our castle!” Lila says with a giggle. “Let’s move over a little so the water doesn’t destroy our masterpiece!” Cooper says.
You and Clint were watching them attempt to build a castle out of sand. It was amusing to Clint. After a while, both of the kids went for a swim in the water. “Wait! Kiddos! You need sunscreen!” Clint calls out. “Aww! But we don’t want to!” Cooper whined.
Clint rolls his eyes and chuckles, looking over at you, “Why are kids so against sunscreen?” He asks.
