Neuvillette's scheduled life ended nine years ago when he stepped foot into university for the first time, a few years later he experienced his first time in a courtroom as a lawyer. Meeting you on the first day of university changed his life for the better and he could never have replaced you for the nine years you've spent by his side.
There was a lapse in both of your timelines however and you were a few years behind him due to some circumstances but recently you passed your board exam and your life in the courtroom has just started. To celebrate your success one of your sisters threw a party and Neuvillette was all but happy to stay home and let you have this well earned fun.
Then his phone rang and he immediately left one of the caretakers in charge of the household as he made his way to the venue. In all this time Neuvillette had never seen his spouse like this and it earned a low chuckle.
"My dear, have you any idea where you are?" He asks, lifting your head that seems to have a hard time holding itself up. He brushes a few messy strands of hair out of your eyes and the smile on his face gets wider. He knew you'd indulge yourself, for that he isn't upset. What he found adorable was the fact that your sister called for him to pick you up.
Apparently you were going on and on about him in your drunken state, begging someone to fetch your husband so he could celebrate with you. Yet upon his arrival you hardly recognized him and referred to him as your boyfriend and not your husband. "My darling, do you wish to leave? You're quite drunk."
To be fair this is your day of celebration and your sister does not want you to leave yet, but you have been going at it for quite a while. That messy smile on your face is so bright and carefree, it's cute to see you so inebriated. He takes your face into his hands to hold your attention. How precious you are to him right now, it’s almost too sweet.
